Tips for New Hosts (Part 2)

Updated: Dec 14, 2020

Sometimes the world of managing your own mini hotel quite hard to navigate, so as promised, I wanted to hop on and give a few more helpful tips for new Airbnb Hosts.

See our first post on this topic called Tips for New Hosts (Pt. 1)

TIP #3: Have Lots (and lots) of Extra Linens

Linens, sheets, and towels are some of the most important things to keep on stock.

While you may think that having one or two sets of each is enough, I recommend having at least 3 or 4 sets available and stored in an owner's closet. This give your clean team the extra items needed for a timely turn and in case any stains or damages have occurred.

TIP #4: Leave a Guest Book in the Unit

Even though you have posted, bolded, and underlined your guest procedures and rules,

I recommend leaving a physical copy as a reminder to your guests of your house rules, check-out processes as well as some great places to eat, drink, and have fun in your corner of the world.

It is fun to put together, limits risk, and it gives the guests a friendly reminder of your procedures to help keep your Airbnb business going strong! You may even want to add a few pages for guests to sign in, tell other guests of their stay and comment on how great their stay was!

Do you have any tips that could help other hosts? Feel free to leave them in the comments below!
